It is to inform all readers that an official from DST was deputed for overssseing the distribution of PURSE money to diffrent departments which were done in a very corrupt way and the matter was reported to the Min of Science and Technology by 7 chairmen and an MP which led to an enquiry .How murky is everything in the regime of present VC.the official was very angry and upset at the behaviour of OSD Development who is hell bent on doing chamchagiri of all sorts. He should desist from these and wait for the outcome of the enquiry else he is also made a target. |

Tariq sb aapki RTI ki dukan band hoti dikh rahi hai. Shayad termination aur phir suspension ne aapko tod diya hai hai. Aap University ki naami hastiyon k khilaf post kiye gaye msgs. filter out kr dete hain jaise Controller, Proctor, FO, Registrar. Somebody rightly told that some bargain has been done for your reinstatement between you and Univ administration. Messages bhi regularly update nahi hote ab.
Yeh mat kahiyega ke himmat hai to naam bataun apna. Kyon k yeh trend to aap hi ne shuru kiya tha apni is site pe ke anonymous messages post karte rahen log.
Perhaps u are not aware that in recent past how many Daily wagers have been appointed in Controller\'s office alone, although UGC has raised questions on appointment of daily wagers and declared them as illegal because no. of such daily wagers has already exceeded the sanctioned quota. I\'ve pointed out the case of Controller\'s office because Parvez Mustjab sb is assumed to be a sharif, clean and balanced person. FO ko to sab hi jante hain k kitni imandar aur nek lady hai, is liye unki baat hi nahi kar rahe hum. Kahan se itni vacancies aa rahi hain jo appointment pe appointment kiye jaa rahe hain woh? Agar vacancies hain to clear appointments karein. Daily wagers ghusa lete hain aur 10 - 15 saal unhein exploit karte rehte hain.
But when a learned person like you who was fighting for such a noble cause has already lost the battle how can a common man take initiative who is not properly equipped with laws/rules of RTI. Please gather courage again. Don\'t misuse RTI Act but also not let it fail. We are with you. |
It appears that you have not been reading newspapers and magazines for the last several months! RTI Group's message to you--> Wake up! |

About 80 people from Mumbai’s LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender)
community gathered this evening at Humsafar Trust’s Drop-in Centre in a
near-spontaneous outpouring of sadness and anger at the mysterious demise of
Dr Srinivas Ramchandra Siras, the professor who was suspended by Aligarh
Muslim University (AMU) for so-called misconduct and immorality (see
background below for details). The candlelight vigil had been announced less
than 24 hours ago – the news had spread quickly through word of mouth and
through online through the fan pages of Bombay Dost and Humsafar, Bombay
Dost’s twitter account (@bombaydost) and LGBT discussion groups.
I spoke to
those gathered and gave an update about the latest information coming out of
Aligarh in the case. The gathering stood up in silence for a minute in
remembrance of Dr Siras and then lit candles one-by-one to pay their
personal tribute to the professor who had become the latest symbol of gay
repression and moral policing in the country.
Many of those who could not make it or were not in Mumbai, sent messages in
support.
I also urged those present to sign the INFOSEM (Integrated Network for
Sexual Minorities, the largest all-India network of LGBT organizations)
petition online, a copy of which has been sent already to the President of
India urging, among other things, action against the administration of AMU
in her capacity as chancellor of AMU, a central university. (see petition at
http://www.petitiononline.com/AMUSiras/petition.html)

The death of homosexual reader of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Dr Srinivas Siras, has opened up a can of worms. He died under mysterious circumstances after a team of local reporters carried out a sting operation on him, allegedly aided by top faculty members of AMU.
Headlines Today tracked down the three local reporters-Syed Adil Murtaza, Ashu Nesam and Shiraz-involved in the sting operation. Brazen and unapologetic, they maintained they did it all to clean the society\'s scum. But despite their shocking admission on camera, the men who hounded Siras out of AMU are not being brought to book with a sense of urgency.
The trio, all journalists of Voice of Nation, forcibly entered the house of Siras and filmed him having sex with a rickshaw puller. They did so allegedly on the direction of Dr Zubair Khan, the AMU proctor.
An FIR was registered against seven accused, including these four, for their alleged involvement in the death of Siras. Yet, they have been roaming free on the streets of Aligarh. The three reporters admitted they barged into the reader\'s house.
An unrepentant Murtaza told Headlines Today, \"We didn\'t give it too much of thought. We thought we were exposing the filth of the society.\"
\"We were getting calls for many days but we kept ignoring it since we get lots of calls for news. Then one evening we decided to check. We thought it has news value,\" he added.
Not just Murtaza, even the other reporters remain unapologetic. Till date they have not even been called for questioning by the police. They are now preparing to defend themselves legally.
\"The university has its own set of rules. Such behaviour is not acceptable in a Muslim university. If a teacher does this imagine, what the students will learn,\" said another reporter Ashu justifying the sting operation.
AMU\'s court member Khurshid Khan accused vice-chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis of planning the sting operation.
In fact, there have been allegations, including one levelled by late Dr Siras himself, accusing the proctor, his deputy Fareed Ahmed Khan, university PRO Dr Rahat Abrar and media advisor Dr N.A.K. Durrani for their role in the harassment and the sting operation.
The VC, Prof Azis, however denied the university either paid for or organised the sting operation.
Almost a week after Dr Siras was found dead in his house under mysterious circumstances, the police made little headway in the investigations. There were allegations that the police are under pressure not to act.
Because of the police\'s apathetic approach towards the unnatural death of the reader, there remain several unanswered questions-who ordered the sting operation; who took the reporters to Dr Siras\'s house; why did the university not take any action on his complaint; why are the police not questioning the reporters or the university authorities.
