Thus far how many leaves ( durations with dates, places and purposes as well) have been taken by the VC and how much money has been spent by him on travelling, haltage etc. Please obtain all details through RTI. |

CEPECAMI\'s seminar on Muslim education has been postponed on belated and flimsy ground of mourning the death of former President V\' Raman. The reality is that the VC Azis has been scolded by the HRD Minister for having raised the reactionary demand of reservation also for Ashraf Muslims. And the minister has refused to come. yet too much of expenses (probably more than Rs 10 Lakhs) have already been incurred. it is also heard that the AMU paid a cheque for the helicopter of the minister to visit AMU. Please \"investigate\" it through RTI. |

Prof. Hafiz Shaiq Ahmad Yahya, Deptt of Wild Life, is always on leave and abroad (Canada), how does he get so much of leaves? Tahmeena Javed, Lecturer, Dept of History is also doing the same ever since she joined in February 2000. There is hardly any session she has taught for full term of the session. Could somebody file an RTI to know the reality, whether it is in conformity with the rules? |

If you are really cocerned about AMU\'s functioning then why don\'t you seek clarification of rules from the UGC through RTI regarding the process of placement of lecturers in senior scale. Some central universities have selection committees, some have screening committees. Why this inconsistency? when it is not a substantial promotion, why delaying it because of not holding selection committees? when specifications ( orientation/ refresher course, no. of years 4, 5, 6 depending upon M.Phil/PhD etc)have been given why not screening be sufficient? |
