Tariq sahib---Hats off to you and your RTI group.
At least it sparks some hope to set the \"Arbitrary administration\" of AMU well deescribed as --\"OUTLAWS and IN-LAWS ---MAKE THE LAWS IN AMU\".

Sir,
Sub: Unethical practices in the award of D.Sc. degree to Dr.P.K.Abdul Aziz – Request for vigilance against his induction in central service
Ref: Complaints preferred before the Society for Scientific Values, New Delhi and before the Chancellor, Kerala University and Cochin University of Science and Technology – copy enclosed
Some time back reports had appeared in newspapers regarding unethical practices in the award of D.Sc. degree to Dr.P.K.Abdul Aziz, Professor, Department of Aquatic Biology, Kerala University and presently Vice chancellor, Cochin University of Science and Technology. A detailed investigation has revealed that plagiarism and larceny of intellectual property committed by him and the connivance of the university administration in awarding the degree is startling. In this connection many organizations and individuals have preferred petition before appropriate authorities including the Society for Scientific Values to take necessary steps to bring this to the notice of the global scientific community and the academic authorities and persuade the authorities to revoke the D.Sc. degree awarded to Dr.P.K.Abdul Aziz.
Meanwhile Dr.Abdul Aziz was inducted as Vice Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology on the basis of his biodata in which his mediocre academic record was concealed and fictitious claims were projected as to his academic and administrative experience. This coupled with his political affiliations helped him to garner the Vice Chancellor’s post. Again a complaint is pending against him before the Chancellor for misrepresenting facts in the biodata. Under these circumstances he is trying to eject himself form the Vice Chancellor’s post and aspiring for some senior position in central government service.
There is solid evidence to prove beyond doubt that Dr.Abdul Aziz had obtained D.Sc. degree by plagiarizing work of others, and that the administration had abetted the process and continue to protect him by stalling the investigations. At this juncture his induction in to central government service will be adding a tainted image to such organizations, where the public look forward to find gentlemen of impeccable integrity.
I this connection I request your good office to keep high alert against the induction of Dr.P.K.Abdul Aziz to any responsible position in central government service, and to scrutinize his biodata against authentic documents before taking any decision.
Looking forward for your vigilance
I remain
Yours truly
Dr.V.N.Sivasankara Pillai
