If you pl go to visit the VC in his office, you have to wait for sometime in a non-ac cubicle with an obsolete sofa and badly torn and dirty green carpet i.e. feel low before, whether you are a Dean or EC member or a foreign delegate. |
Very well pointed out and contrast it with the Registrar's waiting room. If one were to judge the two officers with the waiting room as a criteria one would think Prof. VK Abdul Jalee is the VC. In one of the communications of a very serious nature Prof. VK Abdul Azis was the name of the Registrar signed by Prof. VK Abdul Jaleel. The VC most probably knows the designs of the Registrar therefore did not appoint him as the PVC, which would have been natural. |

What about the RETRACTION NOTICE in case of research paper titled “In-situ copolymerization of aniline with alkyl amine by APS: Kinetics and application” published in the journal “Chinese Chemical Letters” (Volume 19, Issue 11, November 2008, Pages 1358-1362) where the plagiarists are all from Aligarh Muslim University viz. M. Rashid, Shams Qamar Usmani and Suhail Sabir all from Polymer Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India? The reason mentioned on the website is that the authors have plagiarized the Ph.D thesis titled “Studies on aniline based conducting polymers” — which was submitted in Aligah Muslim University by Dr. A. I. Yahya. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and we apologize to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process. Why are you buggers not demanding action these cheats? i have read the concern shown by someone regarding PRO\'s case for referral to a private hospital in new delhi and AMU VC again trying to circumvent the rules to make it happen. I think that if we go by the past records of AMU VC, he has probably tied up secretly with corporate hospitals and is eyeing the commission that is paid out for referral cases. He is out there to eat on the MAS fund after eating up AMU\'s various funds. MAS Director, Dr. Monazir, and Finance Officer, we all know how honest she is, are helping VC do that.
An all out effort should be made by all those concerned to stop this menace of referrals through MAS to corporate hospitals for such facilities which are available in JNMC. The young doctors at AMU like Dr. Shamim ( Chest specialist), Dr. M F Hoda (Neurosurgeon), Dr. Amir Sabir (Orthopedic surgeon), Dr. Anjum Parvez (medicine), who are doing really good work should be complemented for bringing modern facilities to JNMC. |

Please see the link, and think how the Prof. of Central university are doing. They are plagiarizing paper (doi:10.1016/j.nimb.2009.04.012), just for there promotion and etc. How come these teacher has moral value and what they are going to teach us. They are doing for times, but this time they get caught red handed and put indian science in shame. In past also they have been asked for plagiarization from some other journals.

These guys have no values, so they do not desrve to teach us. A proper action will make more and more people aware about unethical behviour. A proper inquiry should take place by the Vice-Chancellor of the Jamia Millia Islamia and disciplinary action must be taken to the concerned Professor.Even the journals will take action and will ban the author. |

Ghosh (Centre for Polymer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi), Devesh K. Avasthi & Pawan K.
