No. Message Response
1 We are some post graduate students and residents of JNMC. We are dismayed to read the message posted as No 2. We would like to clarify certain facts about the issue: The person who has probably wrote this message is Dr BC of the Ophtha dept. The lecturer refereed to as Dr XYZ is probably Dr Ali Rizvi and Dr ABC is probably Dr Farahat Abrar a post MS Registrar in ophtha dept. The facts are:- Dr Abrar, who has trained under one of the most renowned and known Retinal surgeons, Prof 1S operated a case of Retinal detachment in colloboration with Dr Rizvi (Dr XYZ), Everything went well---Dr BC who has peer rivalry with Prof 1S, felt as if his domain and speciality is being encroached!!!!!!! He wrote several complaints to various authorities. This matter is going on since the last few months. It is nothing but a unfortunate example of a consultant becoming paniky when his juniors perform better that him--and he feels threatened. (Unfortunate PGs of JNMC) Congratulations Dr Ali Rizvi and Dr Farahat Abrar! Keep it up! (Names are being published as we believe that good news should be shared with all!)

2 Regarding the Echo machine in cardiology---becoming out of order in july 2006 and becoming functional on september 2008???? Why does not the writer of the message have the guts to write the names of the people he is \\\'trying\\\' to identify???Obviouly he refers to Dr ____i!!!!!!!!!!!! Akhir unka machine par haak hai. We think that names do not matter! We need to work together to improve the systems at AMU! (name removed by moderator!)

3 Dr. T. R. Balakrishnan: I have ‘solid’ proof that a principal of an Engineering College, near Chennai, had produced a fake PhD Degree from the IIT, Roorkee! He was a Syndicate member of the prestigious Anna University, Chennai, and was a Lieutenant [Retd.] of the Indian Army! I wrote, under the RTI, to the University of Kerala and the Jiwaji University, Gwalior, to find whether the other ‘degrees’ that this person had produced were genuine or not. The University of Kerala has said that I should pay Rs. 1,000/- to tell me whether the degree certificate [whose photocopy I had attached] to seek the information! Do I have a remedy? The Jiwaji University has not replied to me even after about 40 days! What is my remedy now? Sorry for the delay in the response - you should ask the SPIO for a break up of the charges he is asking - i.e. how many pages are to be provided and what will those pages contain
