No. Message Response
Dear moderator, please do me a favor by posting this message for public reading -Respected 1969 MBBS Batch senior (if u r really one) u must have known Prof. B.R.Shukla. He was the Director, AMUIO, Dean F/O medicine, Principal, JNMC, Acting VC as the Senior most Professor of AMU. His academic qualification was MBBS,LO, DO. He was regular examiner for MS (Ophth). Any aspirant in present time can not even think of becoming a lecturer in a medical college with these academic qualifications and achieving what he did. The reason.. change in laws with time. Why don’t you ask these still young boys to improve their qualification and skills instead of trying to justify the unjustifiable? An Alumnus. We do not see any reason why your message will not get published, we hope more people and more diverse issues come to the fore

If the facts about the message regarding the manipulation of the PMT internal topper matter is correct----it is indeed a very serious issue!!!! In the past local politician turned teachers could get away with such \'feats\' because no one came to know. In the present times when the facts are public, it should be treated like a criminal offence------making a mockery of merit----which has become a routine in AMU, be it the VC, EC, AC or an employee. I feel the RTI group members who are fully aware of the legal methodology, should take the onus to pursue such misdeeds, othervise it will just fade out as a message in your website with passing time!!!!!!!1 The information supplied under RTI by CPIO/Assistant Controller (Admissions) vide D.No. 39/Adms. Dt.16/3/2009 (which is also posted under 'Admissions & Examinations" section in PDF format on this site) appears to confirm our worst fears. As the matter involves top level functionaries of AMU, only a high level inquiry by an outside agency, can bring the truth to light.

Name=Mohammad Ahmad Father Name=Anis Ahmad Father Occupation=Not a Professor in J N Medical College, AMU Status: Internal (AMU Board) R.No: 248941 Marks in MBBS Entrance Test (2008-09) = 143.5 Status: Selected to MBBS and Attending Classes Name=Syed Shamayal Rabbani Father Name=Prof. (Dr) M. U. Rabbani Father Occupation= Professor of in J N Medical College, AMU R.No: 250791 Marks in MBBS Entrance Test (2008-09) = 134.25 Status: Selected to MBBS and Attending Classes (Source of above information: www.rtigroup.org) 1) Can anyone tell me as to why Mohammad Ahmad is not getting the Merit Scholarship despite the fact that he has TOPPED in the INTERNAL (AMU) category? 2) Can anyone tell me as to why Syed Shamayal Rabbani has been declared the TOPPER and has also been fraudulently awarded Merit Scholarship that is reserved for MBBS Entrance Test TOPPER? 3) Is it not because Syed Shamayal Rabbani’s father as also his mother are well connected and very powerful Professors of JNMC? 4) Why has the matter not been taken up by RDA/JDOs while they keep complaining about one particular teacher of Optho? 5) Is Mohammad Ahmad not being discriminated against simply because he has no one to back him and his father is NOT a professor in AMU? 6) Why has anyone not filed an FIR against the Controller Exams of AMU Prof Irfan and Dr Rabbani for conniving to get monetary benefits illegally and looting public money? 7) Or is the matter not being taken up by RTI group as Dr Tariq fears that his daughter may be targeted by Dr Rabbani and his wife? 8) Above all, is the silence on the part of VC Prof Azis in the matter not intriguing? Waiting for comments! Sadiq Email: sadiqalig1996@gmail.com We are ourselves surprised as to how it has happened. Hope the AMU authorities would rectify their mistake!

Congratulations to the Founders and Moderators of RTI group. I am a 69 batch MBBS, settled in the Middle east and have been following your site activities since the begining. I can see that the site is getting to be a very popular AMU blogging route and this gives out a lot of hidden information and the going ons in AMU. I sincerely feel you should publish all messages unless abusive, and this site will be at par (Or beat) the AMU network!!!!!!!!. I was reading about the Ophthalmology dept issues since many months and have the following to say:- 1.In the begining Dr ‘AB’ had complained against a registrar for having performed retinal surgery etc. 2. He had said that the registrar had no formal training. 3. The JDO had countered it by adding that the said registrar had traied under a senior retinal surgeon who was probably his dessertation guide as well. Also the MCI curriculum was quoted where an ophthalmologist having done MS is recognized by MCI to be capable of doing all surgeries--including retinal. 4. In his recent mail ‘AB’ had written that he and Dr ‘CD’were designated Retinal trainers by the Minisrty of Health. 5. If Dr ‘CD’ was a designated Retinal trainer---and the Registrar had worked and trained under him for nearly 3 years ---Where from the issue came to start with that the registrar was not competent or trained to perform retinal surgery. 6.The truth of the matter is that all specialities, so called, at the Institute of Ophthalmology are manned by doctors who have done only an MS----be it squint, glaucoma or Retina!!!!!!!! 7. As old seniors we would advise ‘AB’ and his like minded consultants to let juniors work and learn in peace. If ‘AB’ imagines himself to be so competent etc why is it that the internet has no information about his achievements? There is no mention on the net that he is a Retinal trainer etc etc. He seems to be just known in and around that 170 acres AMU campus-----------What a tragedy and what an EGO!!!!!!!!!!! It is high time that we start thinking in terms of "WE" rather than "ME"! We hope and wish that JNMC continues on its growth trajectory.

Whenever I tried to visit a consultant in the Pediatrics OPD, I was told by the gate keeper of the consultant that Dr Sb Class le rahe hain. So wait until 11.30 else you can visit the registrar party sitting in the side room. What is the point in conducting a class in the time alotted for OPD. My observations may be corrected if wrong by another message on this board or clarified by other message in public interest. We hope concerned AMU authorities will look into the matter.
