The violation of rules by controller examination by declaring MBBS entrance 2008 topper to a teacher,s son in gross violation of rules as proved by RTI, CPIO/Assistant Controller (Admissions) vide D.No. 39/Adms. Dt.16/3/2009, so there should be some declaration from controller on moral ground i.e. I own the responsibility and step down, it was due to some technical error, there is nothing wrong it was done in the past also, I can not leave until asked, VC is with me etc. |
MORAL Ground in AMU??? |

Subject AMU & Transparency --
Sent Date 06-04-2009 2:16:26 AM
From Zafar Khan
AMU seems to be reluctant about being transparent in its admission policy. This year it allowed the candidates to take away their question booklet, a carbon copy of their OMR answer sheet. All these exercises demonstrated their sincerity about transparency but as the results are being declared, they are neither displaying cut off, nor any waiting list nor are they displaying the score of the selected and not-selected candidates.
This simply means there is certainly something fishy about the admissions.
In the BALLB entrance tests, it is said, the question booklets were having serious mistakes in which same questions were repeated again and again, either with different question numbers or with the same question numbers in the same booklet. Consequently, the invigilators were unofficially instructed not to let the candidates take away the question booklets. Plz establish the truth behind such \"reports\".
I appeal all to take note of all these, and demand impartial, time bound high power enquiry into all these lapses to find out the truth and ensure justice.

We are surprised to read that students were not allowed to take carbon copy of the OMR sheets in BA LLB Test . This definitely calls for an inquiry. |

Dear Aligs,
AA
Happen to see the email on the AMUNetwrok floated by a group of teachers of AMU to support VC. I do agree that due support be extended for the good cause of our alme mater. The sad portion of this appeal is that the request come from For example from
1. Dr Mobin who got the maximum benefits from the present VC simply by mismanipulation of rules such as:
a. Becoming the senior most provost, thus EC member
b. Counting of his non-teaching service Professor under CAS,
c. Getting scale of CAS reader before 27 July
d. Getting post of reader CAS before 27 July
e. becoming reader CAS after 3 and half year of placement in senior scale.
2. Ash har Sahib who was recommended for professor on the condition that he will be promoted only after award of the degree of Ph.D., so far I know he has not been awarded his Ph.D. yet.
For remaining lot you can calculate by yourself.

Let us not equate any VC with AMU. Why are these select few teachers (who also happen to be holding various pleasure posts) afraid of an inquiry? |
