at many parking places in JNMC,, the teachers of college has put up notices that this place is reserved for parking car of prof ortho ,, dr biochem,, prof micro.. is it justifiable to put such notices... is the college parking space or areas their private property or they pay for it,, or are they gods direct descendents .do they belong to superior race.or they have license to reserve parking as their security is at risk .its all because we the students cannot question their doings.. they should feel sorry for their such acts..shame shame shame i m seriouslly planning to file an rti in this respect. who is answerable to this ... even mrs principal has their car parking reserved with a notice stuck on wall... What can one say!!! what about Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller parking their official cars in the premises of the Administrative Block, as if being provided official cars and free fuel from the University in violation of the existing rules is not enough, whereas senior teachers of the University have to park their legitimate private cars outside on the roads without any parking facilities. Who is worried about the rules, proprieties and proper functioning - the RTI Group is only making an endeavour!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something may happen in the park and something may happen (read the message from RTI group message board) below:The echocardiography machine is operated by a male doctor in the center of cardiology of AMU. It may well be understood that the things become very embarrassing when a male doctor does echo of some young girls from families observing strict purdah especially because of the location of the area of the body to be examined in the echo. Therefore, it is the right time to train some female doctor to carry out this procedure before something of great nuisance appears in the center. The doctor patient relationship is not gendered - however, it may be better to appoint a female to overcome the social unease

Dear Aligs It is rather surprising to me that the VC could not find some professors or at least some senior readers to help him out of the present situation as the new team of provosts includes senior lecturers. I do not mean that they are less capable than professors but it is against the past practice. Someone may through light on the rule position also. Wassalam. There is no bar in law to appoint a lecturer as a provost - the problem for a lecturer arises on getting a team of wardens and managing them, which, unfortunately or fortunately, for obvious reasons, is much more manageable for a professor

It has been well pointed out that the Park in the Med colony area has become a nuisance. Opening once a while for the public for a flower show is ok but every day is rather strange. The AMU authorities will wake up to its implications when a shoot out or the like will happen. Let's hope nothing like this happens we feel the residents of Medical Colony should immediately represent to the VC or AMUTA

AN APPEAL: The VC has done a lot to add security to the AMU campus by virtue of making many gates (Which are never closed except the gate that secures his Lodge!!) and by regular Gypsy laden cops zooming around the campus---which is a welcome step. The the AMU authorities neutralize it all by OPENING THE PARK NEXT TO THE MEDICAL COLLEGE to all the public of Aligarh and around. What is the use of this everyday Mela--which has become a nuisance to the residents of the Medical Colony, which encourages all types of roudy elements to enter the campus. JUST PASS BY ANY EVENING AND SEE THE CRAZY SITUATION----Enough is enough---some one should invite all these people to the VC lodge everyday, to make the Adm realize the nuisance they have created!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A sufferer in the Med Colony!!! Hope the AMU administration wakes up in time!
