2 Hello Tariq saheb! I have studies various notices for selection committees for faculty. NO boday is saying for selection committee of non-teaching and technical positions viz. Dy Registrar, Asstt. Registrar, Sectio Officers, Assistants (Junior or Senior). Please file an RTI application in this regards. We advise that you yourself file an RTI in the matter inquiring facts and reasons for not holding of these selection committees. RTI Group will extend all help in the framing of RTI.

3 does it goes by the rule and protocol that deans and chairpersons can decided issues related to the students living in the various residential halls of AMU.it semms to be absurd... can anyone tell me how many times deans and chairman had visited residential hall of AMU?? how could they be so aware of the problems concerning to hostels. why all the provost were not invited for the said decision?? it means that provost can also decide the matters of the faculty and colleges. how could RTI help in this regard?? RTI can be filed inquiring the total number of times each of the Dean/Chairman visited halls of residence during the last, say, two years; how many of them have ever resided in AMU halls of residence; why the provosts were not involved in such a committee; details of inputs provided by each of the provosts including their date and disptach nos; etc. and of course whether provosts can give suggestions regarding academic matters of the dept/faculty!

4 Its all in the news today. Our \"VC\" was pulled up by Sibal -HRD minister for shutting down the University like a person casually shuts down a tap. If the VC continues to do selection committees for only his pets --he\'ll have to do a lot more explaining to the HRD ministry very soon. We advise the VC to take decesions for the majority good rather than a few of his criminal minded and infamous goons!!!!---- Othervise he\'ll face the music---and that too very soon!!!!!!! To be precise Hindustan Times dt 15-11-2009 reported "Sibal Raps AMU Head for Closure"! We are confident that things would change.

5 The AMU\'s PRO informs that a high level committee has been constituted to look into the grievance sof the students. The DSW will head the enquiry.Quite disgusting. Does not it amount to rubbing salt into the wounds of the agitated students. The DSW could not provide canteen facilities. He is alleged to be more interested in getting jobs for his so many sons-in-law and daughters. He is one of the most hated functionaries. He is said to have set examibnation question paper for which his own daughter was appearing, and he even went to examine those answer scripts. shameless person. Yet he continues to be the Dean Students\' Welfare. He is also rumoured to be fixing his eyes on the post of Pro VC. One fails to understand, why does VC lack a minimum of tact and wisdom and expediency? Why does not VC have credible teachers around him? Why does he take plagiarist, rapist, illegally recruited teachers as his Provosts and Media Advisors? Why is he recklessly promoting (under CAS) all and sundry? Why does not he re-advertise the vacancies? Why is he so fond of illegalities? Why did he take the tainted acting FO as full fledged FO? Why does he continue the excessively alcohlic \"nephew\" as his Registrar? Why do the teachers elect lumpens as their representatives in the bodies like EC? Why should the students pay respect to such teachers and functionaries? getzafarkhan@yahoo.com Someone should file an RTI to find out the truth!
